Compass Minerals Lays Off 48 Miners at Goderich Salt Mine, Ontario

Black Burn News reported that forty-eight workers at the Goderich Mine, operated by Compass Minerals, have been laid off. The company said that the restructuring is in keeping with the current collective bargaining agreement between the company and the union.
