Several well-known managers and professionals from the Sudbury and Northeastern Ontario mining communities will be taking part as workshop speakers in the 13th Annual Decarbonized Mine Conference in Toronto on November 12-13.
The conference, hosted by Energy and Mines, will explore the latest technologies and solutions being deployed and tested including renewable energy, battery electric vehicles, hydrogen, alternative fuels, and carbon capture and storage.
Part of the conference will feature detailed case studies from mining companies that have already embarked on ambitious decarbonization initiatives, providing valuable insights and lessons learned, said a news release.
Energy and Mines is a private entity that works towards net-zero, low carbon, and carbon-free mining operations.
