Generation Uranium has appointed Michael Collins as chief executive officer and director of the company, effective immediately.

“I am excited to join the Generation Uranium team. The Yath Project has all the right ingredients for a significant uranium discovery, and I look forward to working with the Generation team unlocking and developing this project,” said Michael Collins.

Michael Collins is a professional geologist with more than 30 years of experience in the mining and exploration industry, including leadership roles in corporate development, project management, and technical operations. He has held senior executive and board positions with several publicly traded resource companies, providing strategic direction through project advancement and capital markets engagement. Collins was a co-founder of Nuclear Fuels which just merged with Priemer American Uranium, and co-founded Bluerock Resources, the only new conventional uranium producer in the U.S. southwest in the 2000-2009 uranium market.

Generation Uranium is a Canadian resource exploration company with a focus on Uranium. The company is advancing its 100 percent owned Yath uranium project, strategically located in Nunavut’s Angilak district, one of Canada’s most active emerging uranium camps. With a robust pipeline of high-priority exploration targets and exposure to proven uranium-bearing corridors, Generation is well positioned to contribute to the future supply of clean nuclear energy.
