FLSmidth Appoints Sven Hörschke as Vice President, EMENA, Minerals

FLSmidth has appointed Sven Hörschkes as vice president, EMENA, minerals, covering all regional operations in Europe, Middle East and North Africa for the Minerals division of FLSmidth.
Sven Hörschkes responsibilities will cover the development of the regional organization and focused implementation of the minerals strategy, resulting in increased market share and sales.
Before coming to FLSmidth, Sven worked for Metso for more than 25 years, most recently as Vice President, Mining and Process Solutions, for Europe (incl. Russia), Middle East and North Africa. Prior roles over his career included senior positions holding global responsibilities for product lines, sales and operational support for numerous business units within Metso Minerals.
In addition to his extensive professional experience, his educational background and various professional certifications in management, business and mineral processing technologies will add value to the EMENA regional business, in particular his expertise in project management and execution. He holds degrees in process and electrical engineering.
