Bayhorse Silver Appoints Todd Johnson as Minerals Program Manager

Bayhorse Silver Inc. has appointed Todd Johnson, P.E., M.S. Geology and Geological Engineering, as minerals program manager.

Todd Johnson has more than 25 years of experience in mining, mineral exploration, and geotechnical engineering ranging from grass-roots exploration to mine development, mine permitting and production. Johnson has worked throughout the western United States and Canada, northern Mexico, and Malaysia for several mining and engineering companies including: Veris Gold Corp., Newmont Mining Corporation, Battle Mountain Gold, Hemlo Gold, Noranda Exploration, and AMEC.

He most recently assisted Geomin Resources Inc. with the September 2016 resubmission of Tintina Montana Inc.‘s mine operating permit application to the Montana Department of Environmental Quality for the Black Butte Copper Project. Before that, Johnson helped return the Jerritt Canyon gold mine in Nevada back into production for Veris Gold Corp. in 2009. Johnson also significantly contributed to the multi-million ounce resource expansion and positive feasibility study for the Phoenix Au-Cu-Ag open-pit project in Battle Mountain, Nevada from 1996 to 2001.

Johnson is a qualified person as defined by the Canadian National Instrument 43-101 guidelines. He will be instrumental in managing the company’s exploration and mine development activities at the Bridging the Gap silver-lead-zinc Project in Idaho’s Silver Valley, and advancing the Bayhorse Silver Mine in Oregon towards production.

Rick Low, CA, B.Comm, has been appointed as chief financial officer.

Low has over 20 years of progressive management experience in various industries in Canada and overseas. Low has over ten years senior management experience including as CFO and board director in the mining industry. He oversaw the finance and accounting function for a gold mining project during its progression from exploration, feasibility, construction and development through to commercial production.

Low has also participated in raising various debt and equity financings and applications for listing on stock exchanges. Low is a qualified chartered professional accountant (CA) with the Chartered Professional Accountants of B.C. and graduated with a B. Comm. degree from the University of British Columbia.
