Tata Invests In Additional Simulators from Immersive Technologies for Its Noamundi Mines, Jharkhand

Tata Steel has recently invested in additional simulators from Immersive Technologies for operator training. A customer for the past 14 years, Tata has committed to ensuring the safest operators and invest heavily in advanced technologies for the most effective and efficient operations.

Based on the continued results achieved, product reliability and support received, by the West Bokaro Division, the Tata iron ore site, Noamundi, will soon be utilizing Komatsu 785-7 haul truck, Hitachi EX1200-6 excavator and Komatsu WA900 wheel loader simulators.

The West Bokaro Division purchased their original simulator in 2002 and it still garners impressive business improvements.

Noamundi will also incorporate Immersive’s Briefing, Debriefing and Live Session Display, SimMentor, and a Custom Mine Site which is a replica of the actual working site for their training program.
