Merlin Diamonds Discovers Fifth Largest Diamond in Australia
Merlin Diamonds has recovered a number of rough diamonds from operations at the Merlin diamond mine in the Northern Territory including a 35.26 carat brown diamond, which is the fifth largest diamond discovered in Australia.
A14.6 carat brown diamond and a number of smaller white diamonds were also recovered. This discovery follows the recent discovery of a rare blue diamond in December.
The Merlin diamond mine is known for its high quality large super white diamonds and Australia’s largest diamond ever found.
These recent diamond recoveries continue to demonstrate the potential the mine has to host large diamonds.
As the company continues operations at the Merlin diamond mine, investors will be leveraged to further diamond discoveries.
During December, the company raised $1.33 million by placing 102.4 million shares at $0.013.
Merlin recently received a Buy Recommendation and $0.06 price target from a Sydney-based firm.
