Klondex Mines Appoints Charles Oliver to Board of Directors
There were a couple of changes in the board room of Klondex Mines, the mine developer, at the end of 2015.
Renaud Adams resigned from the board while, as announced back in June of last year, Charles Oliver joined as a special adviser to the board.
“I would like to thank Renaud for his dedication and sound advice as a Klondex board member. Renaud has been instrumental in the company’s achievements to date, including the successful ramp-up of our operations. We are fortunate to have had Renaud’s wisdom and experience on our board,” said Richard Hall, chairman of Klondex.
New recruit Oliver is a chartered financial analyst and an award-winning fund manager, having only recently retired from Sprott Asset Management, where he had been lead portfolio manager of the Gold and Precious Metals Fund since 2008.
Prior to this, he was senior vice-president and portfolio manager for AGF and head of a team that managed some $4-billion, $1.8-billion of which was in precious metals and resource mandates.
