Indonesia Coal Prices Hit Five Year High
Economic Times reported that Indonesian Coal Benchmark Price was set at USD 101.86 per tonne for March. Mr. Agung Pribadi a spokesman of energy ministry told reporters that “Production has been limited because of weather and demand is still high.”
The HBA is a monthly average of Argus-Indonesia Coal Index, Platts Kalimantan 5,900 assessment, Newcastle Export Index and globalCOAL Newcastle index from previous month.
The HBA for February was at USD 100.69/tonne
