Advanced Equipment Simulator IM360

Changes in drilling conditions and focus on operator workforce development at Phosagro’s Apatit mine in Russia prompted management to seek a better way to train their operators. With the rapid sales growth and operation success of Immersive Technologies’ simulators in underground mining, Phosagro chose for its operators to be trained on an IM360 Advanced Equipment Simulator. Apatit is the world’s largest producer of high-grade phosphate ore and Russia’s only producer of nepheline concentrate.

“Based on the results achieved in Russia and at other mines around the world using Immersive Technologies Simulators, we expect we will be able to train green operators faster and more effectively. Following the release of the IM360, the vast majority of underground mining equipment simulators deployed globally were from Immersive Technologies.
