FLSmidth Appoints Michael Woloschuk as Group Key Industry Director – Gold

FLSmidth has appointed Michael Woloschuk as group key industry director – gold, to grow business activities and strengthen customer relationships in the gold industry.

Mike Woloschuk has 20 years of experience in the mining industry including operations, engineering consulting, capital projects, and corporate development. He comes from Waterton Global Resource Management where he was a partner and head of process engineering for Canada’s largest precious metals-focused private equity fund. He held overall responsibility for all metallurgical and process engineering functions and led multi-disciplined teams through the technical due diligence process.

Prior to this, Woloschuk performed a similar function for Barrick Gold’s corporate projects & evaluations group in Toronto. Woloschuk also spent a number of years in key roles with engineering houses in Brisbane including Aker Solutions Australia (Jacobs), Hatch and Bateman. Woloschuk will help FLSmidth’s minerals division grow their activities in gold and develop deeper relationships with key gold miners globally.
