The cause of the accident is under investigation. One person was killed while working at the United Coal Company LLC’s Carter Roag mine complex in Mill Creek, Friday.
According to United Coal, Owen Mark Jones was killed in the incident. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Jones is survived by his wife, two children and five grandchildren.
In a press release, United Coal wrote, “UCC would like to express its deepest condolences to the family of Mr. Jones. Our thoughts and prayers are with them at this difficult time.”
