Empire Resources Pours First Gold from Penny’s Find Mine, Western Australia

Empire Resources has poured its first gold bar from its recently commissioned Penny’s Find Gold Mine located 50 kilometers from Kalgoorlie in Western Australia.
The gold bar was poured at the Lakewood toll milling facility south of Kalgoorlie and further gold pours of gravity and leach circuit gold are expected later this week from Lakewood.
An additional 9,000 tonnes of Penny’s Find ore is already stockpiled at Lakewood and is currently being processed.

GOLD POUR FROM BURBANK FACILITY ALSO EXPECTED SOON
In addition to Lakewood, to date, 16,000 tonnes of ore has also been transported to the Burbanks toll milling facility south of the nearby town of Coolgardie and is currently being processed.
A gold pour from this processing is expected later this week.
PENNY’S FIND GOLD MINE
Empire holds a 60 percent direct interest in the Penny’s Find gold project with the remaining 40 percent interest held by unlisted Brimstone Resources Ltd.
Penny’s Find’s mineralization extends to 250 meters below surface and remains open at depth.
Both oxide and fresh mineralization are free milling with up to 98 percent and 99 percent recoveries achieved in testwork respectively.
There is also a high gravity recoverable gold component, 53 percent for oxide and 85 percent for fresh.
The company is currently assessing the option to take the mine underground when known open-pit zones are exhausted.
