China’s SHENWU Environmental Develops New Clean Coal Technologies
For years, coal has been the major energy resource for China’s economic development.
However, such energy structure has been blamed for the foul air, as use of coal will release great amount of carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide.
In a bid to control air pollution, China is promoting the technology of clean use of coal and boosting low-emissions facilities for coal-fired power plants.
SHENWU Environmental Technology Co, Ltd. creates a technology called acetylene coal chemical method, which aims to address the plight.
By adopting the method, low-quality coal could turn into high-quality, less-polluted energy, such as synthetic natural gas and artificial petroleum.
“This technology can help reduce the overcapacity in the coal industry. Meanwhile, it will produce less carbon dioxide and sulfur dioxide during the process of the use of coal,” said Wu Daochong, Chairman, SHENWU Environmental Technology Co, Ltd.
