Paramount Gold Nevada has engaged an engineering firm to conduct a “bankable feasibility study” on its proposed Grassy Mountain gold mine project in Malheur County.

Paramount Gold made the announcement Tuesday that an agreement has been made with Ausenco Engineering of Canada to do the study, along with Gold Associates and Mine Development Associates. This will be initiated in July, with completion expected in mid-2020, according to a news release.

Ausenco, along with other consulting groups, conducted a pre-feasibility study on the Grassy Mountain site in 2018 and all have been working with Paramount Gold to complete the Consolidated Permit Application Process with the state of Oregon.

Paramount officials project they will have all permits in place by 2020, and plan to begin construction right after getting permits, the release reads.
