STRATACONNECT™ DIGITALBRIDGE™

StrataConnect™ DigitalBRIDGE™ is a simple, yet innovative network solution to digitize your mine for the deployment of Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) devices such as Wi-Fi, cellular, video cameras. These networks can be incorporated into existing infrastructures or can stand on their own.

DigitalBRIDGE™ utilizes industrial grade coaxial cable to carry power and high-speed Ethernet data. It can be seamlessly integrated with existing fiber optic networks to extend or replace the fiber.

Coaxial cable is simple to install and maintain and is fully recoverable. Network management can be completed by on-site personnel, without the need for specialized technicians. Utilizing off-the-shelf tools and standard procedures, personnel can cut and splice the coax cable to install or remove PoE end-point devices anywhere along the network.

DigitalBRIDGE™ is an ideal solution for expanding, repairing or replacing fiber networks for digital coverage. It can also be used as a stand-alone system.

STRATACONNECT™ DIGITALBRIDGE PLUS+™

Digitize your VHF leaky feeder system with DigitalBRIDGE Plus+, and use your radio network for Wi-Fi access, cellular access, video cameras, atmospheric monitoring and more. Connect emergency refuge chambers to enable real-time communication and status monitoring during emergency situations.

DigitalBRIDGE Plus+ can upgrade your entire leaky feeder network, or only select sections underground.

Strata VHF BDA line amps cover all the frequency bands of existing equipment, making them fully interoperable with any 3rd party line amp already in use. Operations can replace existing amplifiers or progress forward with DigitalBRIDGE Plus+ amplifiers to boost the performance of the network without changing cables, head-end units, frequency channels or hand-held devices.

DigitalBRIDGEPlus+ line amps with Ethernet provide dual Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) ports for the connection and powering of Ethernet end-point devices directly to the line amp.

Alternatively, using the standard DigitalBRIDGE™ network components, mines can tap into the leaky feeder cable in any location and connect the DigitalBRIDGE Quadport. Quadports provide four (4) high-power PoE ports for end-point devices.

Tracking
Personnel and equipment real-time tracking for safety and productivity. Calculate location and direction of travel to within 200 feet (60 meters).

Communication
The second deneration miner communicator - MC2 - features a full, hard-button QWERTY keyboard and a large display screen. It serves as both a tracking and text communicating device for one-on-one and group text messaging. The MC2 facilitates miner-to-miner location look-up underground.
