Witteveen+Bos and BST Global Create Landmark Partnership
Netherlands-based engineering consultancy firm Witteveen+Bos and international software company BST Global have created a landmark partnership.
Witteveen+Bos has selected BST Global as its enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution provider, making the engineering consultancy the first Netherlands-based firm to implement the software company’s flagship product, BST10.
“We met with a number of other ERP software providers, but were ultimately impressed by BST Global’s focus on the engineering industry. Finding a partner that understands how our industry, and our company, works was of utmost importance to us — and we clearly found this with BST,” said Karin Sluis, chief executive officer of Witteveen+Bos.
By moving to BST10, the engineering consultancy aims to improve efficiencies company-wide and increase project and financial visibility through the use of dashboards. The firm also sought a solution that could provide the flexibility needed to support its international expansion strategy and ability to work in joint ventures to serve its clients worldwide.
“We are very excited about the future direction of BST10. In a constantly evolving market, it is important to find a partner that can not only keep up, but also lead. That’s what BST Global does. They listen to their clients’ needs, and work continuously to develop and improve their product to meet those needs, which ensures our company never falls behind,” said Jeffrey Hinnen, chief financial officer of Witteveen+Bos.
“Witteveen+Bos is exactly the type of partner that we hoped to find when we entered the Netherlands market. Although our businesses are quite different, we found that our cultural values, and the way we do business, are quite the same,” said Coskun Tuzgol, regional director of Europe for BST Global.
“With Witteveen+Bos, we believe that we have not only found a respected industry leader, but also a strategic partner. We look forward to building a long-standing partnership with Witteveen+Bos for many years to come,” said Javier Baldor, executive president of BST Global.
