McDermott International has secured three engineering, procurement, construction, and installation (EPCI) projects and additional scope on existing contract in Arabian Gulf.

The company will provide the EPCI services for jackets and topsides, subsea pipelines and subsea cables.

Work on the projects is anticipated to be implemented through the fourth quarter of 2017.

McDermott’s specialist teams in Dubai, UAE; and, Chennai, India, will undertake the engineering works. The company’s specialist teams in Dubai will carry out procurement.

The company’s fabrication facilities in Dubai will be used to fabricate the structures and marine installation is anticipated to be carried out by McDermott’s specialist fleet of shallow water vessels.

McDermott Middle East vice president Linh Austin said: “These awards are due, in part, to McDermott’s ability to provide a highly efficient solution with schedule certainty and draws upon our in-depth knowledge and experience working offshore in the Middle East area over many years.”

The company said it will include revenue from the contract awards in its second quarter 2016 backlog.

McDermott delivers fixed and floating production facilities, pipelines and subsea systems from concept to commissioning for complex offshore and subsea oil and gas projects.

Earlier this year, McDermott secured a subsea umbilical and flowline installation contract to support Anadarko Petroleum’s Phase II development of the Caesar/Tonga field located in the US Gulf of Mexico.

Last month, McDermott completed the installation scope associated with the Otis development in the Gulf of Mexico on behalf of LLOG Exploration Offshore
