LLOG Exploration Company, L.L.C. has exceeded the nameplate oil capactity of 80,000 barrels of oil per day at Delta House floating production system (FPS) at Mississippi Canyon 254. LLOG recently brought the ninth well on production several weeks ahead of schedule and two additional wells will be brought on production to the FPS in 2016. The FPS nameplate capacity includes 50 percent redundancy of key rotating equipment. The FPS is designed for peaking capacity of 100,000 barrels of oil per day and 240 million cubic feet of gas per day with no redundancy of key rotating equipment.

The Delta House FPS was built, installed, and put on line in three years. First production was achieved in April of 2015. The Delta House project was recently named one of the Top 5 Projects in the world according to Offshore Magazine. “The startup and ramp up of the Delta House FPS has gone exceptionally well. The FPS uptime has averaged in excess of 99% since production was initiated which we believe is best in class for similarly sized facilities,” said Scott Gutterman, president and CEO of LLOG Exploration.
