Labor Day, the first Monday in September, is a creation of the labor movement and according to the U.S. Department of Labor “is dedicated to the social and economic achievements of American workers. It constitutes a yearly national tribute to the contributions workers have made to the strength, prosperity, and well-being of our country.”
There are a lot of hardworking men and women in the mining and oil & gas industry who deserve to be celebrated. Our industry workers are critical to the success of our daily lives and creating a great nation.
Though these are challenging times for our industry, our message has never been stronger. The changes made in our industries these past 18 months has shown every day American’s the value of mining and oil & gas to our country. The narrative can be mind boggling at times. But it’s that narrative along with policy changes that have waken up American’s to the value of the mining and energy sectors.
We want to thank everyone for being part of our business. Your dedication and contributions continue to make Mining Connection a success.
