EPIC Midstream Appoints Brian Freed as President

EPIC Midstream Holdings has appointed Brian Freed as president of the company.
“We are pleased to announce that Brian has joined EPIC as president. EPIC will benefit from his record of creating shareholder value across the energy space and his proven leadership abilities. We look forward to working together to execute on our strategic vision for the company,” said Phillip Mezey, chief executive officer.
Brian Freed has more than 21 years of experience in the oil and gas industry and has held senior leadership positions with Apache Corporation, Crestwood Equity Partners LP, Inergy Midstream, L.P., Energy Solutions International and Entessa Inc., which Freed founded and led as its president, CEO and chairman until it merged with Energy Solutions International in 2010.
Brian Freed graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Finance from West Virginia University and served with honor and distinction as a field artillery officer in the United States Army, achieving the rank of captain. He is one of the inaugural inductees into the Army ROTC Hall of Fame.

About EPIC Pipeline
EPIC was formed in 2017 to build, own and operate midstream infrastructure in both the Permian and Eagle Ford Basins. EPIC’s first two projects, the EPIC Crude Oil Pipeline and the EPIC NGL Pipeline, will transport crude and NGL across Texas for delivery into the Corpus Christi market. The EPIC Pipelines are backed by capital commitments from funds managed by the Private Equity Group of Ares Management, L.P.
