Dorchester Minerals Adds Mineral, Royalty Interests in Three States

Dorchester Minerals (DMLP) has completed an acquisition of mineral and royalty interests totaling approximately 17,000 gross acres and 900 net royalty acres located in 13 counties and parishes across Louisiana, New Mexico, and Texas.
The transaction is structured as a non-taxable contribution and exchange. The contributing entities conveyed their interests to DMLP in exchange for 343,750 common limited partnership units of Dorchester Minerals, L.P.
Dorchester Minerals is a Dallas based owner of producing and non-producing oil and natural gas mineral, royalty, overriding royalty, net profits, and leasehold interests located in 28 states.
