Cox Oil Hires High Ranking Energy Official Vincent DeVito as Executive VP

Cox Oil Offshore, L.L.C., a privately owned, independent oil and gas company, has appointed Vincent DeVito, former U.S. Department of Interior senior executive, to serve as executive vice president and general counsel.
Vincent DeVito is a corporate and regulatory attorney and brings extensive experience representing public and private energy corporations. At the U.S. Department of Interior, DeVito was Energy Counselor to the Secretary of the Interior, Ryan Zinke.
In 2017, when announcing the President’s appointment of Vincent DeVito, Secretary Zinke identified DeVito as “the best of the best in the private sector.” Recently, Zinke said, “Vincent was one of my principle advisers for many Interior energy issues and he helped set the course for energy dominance in the first term of this administration.”
DeVito has also held several senior leadership roles at the U.S. Department of Energy and within state energy offices. Before joining the Interior, DeVito was a Capital Partner with an international law practice.

DeVito is a licensed member of the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New York, and U.S. Supreme Court Bars.
