Construction Begins at Burma Rangoon Thaketa’s Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Facility, Myanmar
SEPCOIII Rangoon THAKETA 110MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine Power Plant is under construction.
With the invitation of U Energy and Yunnan Energy Investment, secretary of party committee and vice president Wang Li attended the opening ceremony for Myanmar Thaketa project phase I, and cutting the ribbon on stage.
Myanmar Thaketa project locates in Yangon which is the economic center of Myanmar. It is the biggest investment of U Energy in Myanmar. After we finished the construction, it would strongly release the pressure of electricity for Yangon and the surrounding area, that have a great influence on political and economic aspect. Therefore, the owner is to organize a grand opening ceremony which invites vice governor of Yunnan province, Chinese ambassador in Myanmar, the governor of Yangon province, Myanmar electric energy secretary as well as many members of congress and the elites from local business community, to attend this ceremony.
The construction of this project will promote Chinese enterprises to put foreign investment , domestic equipment export and the development of local new clean energy, make up power supply shortage, promote economic growth, reduce environmental pollution and has the vital significance. As the Myanmar’s first project, SEPCOIII will always adhere to the “owner oriented” and “scene is market” philosophy, solid implementation of the project, and strive to create a company in the international market a good brand image, to boost the development of international business growth.
