Canadian Gov’t to Acquire Kinder’s Trans Mountain Pipeline Project for $3.5 Billion

The Canadian Government has agreed to acquire Kinder Morgan Canada’s (KML) Trans Mountain Pipeline system and the expansion project for C$4.5bn ($3.5bn). Under the terms of the agreement, the government will fund the resumption of TMEP planning and construction work.
