Saracen Pours First Gold at Thunderbox Gold Project, Western Australia
Mid-tier gold producer Saracen Mineral Holdings has now poured its first gold from the wholly-owned Thunderbox Gold Project in Western Australia.
Thunderbox gives the company the level of production and cashflow sought after by international investors, while enabling it to remain debt-free.
Thunderbox has the potential for a plus-10 year mine life.
Saracen is on track to double its production rate to ~300,000 ounces a year at an all-in sustaining cost of less than A$1075/oz.
Shares in the company have been outperforming recently, on the back of the increased production and the rise in the Australian Dollar Gold Price to between A$1650 and A$1700 an ounce.
Saracen closed at $0.90 yesterday, which is 165 percent higher than its 12-month low of $0.34 in July.
