Royalty North Partners Appoints Nolan Watson as Chairman

Royalty North Partners Ltd. elected Nolan Watson as a director of the company at the annual shareholder meeting on June 23. Immediately following the shareholder meeting, Watson was appointed as the chairman of the board of the company.
Nolan Watson is currently the president and CEO of Sandstorm Gold Ltd. and has helped to develop the royalty financing business model for more than a decade. In that time he has raised more than $1.5 billion in capital to deploy into numerous royalty transactions.
Watson is a Chartered Professional Accountant (valedictorian), holds the designation of Chartered Financial Analyst and received a bachelor of commerce degree, with honors, from the University of British Columbia. He has won numerous awards for his professional and charitable achievements including the Early Achievement Award by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia, Canada’s Top 40 Under 40 award, CEO of the Year by Business In Vancouver, and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.
