Richwood Industries Receives ISO 9001:2008 Certification

Richwood Industries has received ISO 9001:2008 certification. This certification applies to the design and manufacture of conveyor accessories for a variety of industries.
“We have always believed in continual improvement and functioned under a lean system. ISO certification is another great step in our mission to manufacture products that perform extraordinarily as we partner with our clients to optimize productivity in bulk material handling,” said Judd Roseberry, CEO of Richwood.
Original approval was complete in November, 2015. The certificate 9001:2008 is a quality management system with specific standards and requirements. There are eight core principles to the system: 1. Improved consistency and traceability 2. Enhanced customer focus 3. Focused leadership 4. Involvement of people 5. A system approach to management 6. Continual improvement 7. A factual approach to decision making 8. Mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
“ISO is an independent, nongovernmental membership organization. Worldwide there are over a million companies that are certified and we are glad to be in that number. The ISO quality management system is the right fit for Richwood and can provide additional assurance to our clients about the way we do business,” said Ami Pemberton, ISO coordinator for Richwood.
