KP Engineering Appoints Doug Schnittker as Vice President of Engineering

KP Engineering (KPE) has appointed Douglas Schnittker as Vice President of Engineering. In his role, Mr. Schnittker will be responsible for the direct leadership and oversight of detailed engineering and design.
KPE continues to expand its engineering capabilities which are central to the value we bring our customers. Doug brings a wealth of engineering and execution experience to KPE. He will play a key role in maintaining our hard-earned reputation for quality and value as we grow,” said William Preston, president and chief operating officer of KPE.
Douglas Schnittker brings more than 35 years of experience with an extensive record of accomplishments in designing, executing and managing projects within the oil, gas processing and refining industries. Prior to joining KPE, he was the vice president of operations at CB&I Tyler, where he spent the last 15 years of his career.

Schnittker joins KPE in the midst of its impressive growth, as evidenced by its recent announcements of several key projects. These project awards include engineering, procurement, and construction of a Gasoline Hydrotreater, a Condensate Splitter, a Cryogenic Gas Plant, a Syngas Unit, a Naphtha Splitter, and a Refinery Debottlenecking effort, and engineering, procurement, and fabrication of an NGL Fractionator.
